The Orion Records Management System provides total control and management of your legal files. We provide a powerful search engine against fully indexed records capable of locating information anywhere in any file.
Designed by attorneys, legal administrators and our programmers, Orion Records Management provides the file room a powerful reporting system while giving the attorney and legal assistant an easy to use search engine. Adding to it flexibility, Orion Records Management supports various screens of user defined fields, allowing the law firm to design a system which meets its requirements.
Record Entry/Edit
File record entry is as simple as locating an existing Client Matter and completing the system defined and user defined fields. All entered information is fully searchable, including a 2,000 word Notes field. Multiple records for the same client are easily entered using our "copy last" feature.
Searching
Orion offers many powerful functions that allow full Boolean logic searches. Wildcard and string searches are also available. You can search all fields or restrict the search to specified fields. Perform sub-set searches or batch searches to complete several searches at the same time. Search results take just a few seconds regardless of the size of your database.
Reporting
Your search results are returned to an on screen table with an indication of the number of "hits". The user can quickly customize the table to determine the information to be displayed and the sort order of the records. Displayed records can then be output to various file label formats or reported in a detail or summary format.
Integration
Orion Records Management fully integrates with other applicable programs. A Matter only need to be opened once in Orion and the Records Management program will be able to begin tracking files. All entries of Clients, Matters and Timekeepers are verified on screen.
