API was started by Sandra Gacio, Debra Douglas, Greg Pierce, Russ Riley and Joe Simmons in 1998 to provide business management and technology solutions to firms from small to large -- that is, firms who need administrative, management or technology assistance without the considerable expense of hiring employees with multiple areas of expertise. We began with 3 clients and have served over 350 clients since 1998. We started out with the 5 partners and 2 employees and have grown to a total of 32. Many of our staff members have worked with us for years - some for decades - at other companies before joining API. We are fortunate to have some of the brightest and most talented people in the Tampa Bay area working at API.
